Okay...now that all the gun ban bills have been defeated. Will ammo become more available again anytime soon? Man I hope so.

Don't count on it, There are suddenly thousands of new gun owners looking to shoot their new guns. Add to that the urge to "store" some ammo just in case and these shortages could be around for a while.

I just left Walmart. They had 4-5 night stocking employees bringing out ammo by the cart load. Shortage is officially over

most LGS around Terre Haute have a fairly constant supply of decently priced ammo already. It is definately turning around at the stores i frequent.

I see it gradually coming around too. LGS, gunshows, even online to an extent.. But it can't come soon enough.

Ammo Manufacturers are working 24/7 to meet demand. I know Hornaday has stated even if the rush for ammo stopped today it would still take 2 years to recover supply to what is was before the rush started in 2008. Once the demand slows a bit prices may also drop a tad but never drop fully to where they were sadly.

It all depends on what your willing to pay. Most of it sells out in minutes.

I have a popups for Freedom Munition and they usually post 9mm every other day or so and 223/5.56 every day it seems like

their 9mm had 119 500rd cases this morning It lasted 4 minutes

223 500 round case of Vmax lasted 10 minutes and they had 17 instock @368

had to buy a slingshot down here on the south end. no ammo anywhere.
