I was bored last night so I decided to watch this. Overall it was reasonably enjoyable, but as always, there were little Hollywood trends that really irritate me. The biggest one is Hollywood's push on kids and young adults knowing better then their elders. They're always depicted as wise beyond their years and have life already figured out, as a counterpoint to bumbling adults who don't know :poop:. I know this is likely some sort of grooming thing, making it seem like everyone knows what they want from birth I guess. Just very frustrating to me. As I said, other than that it was reasonably enjoyable if you like that sort of heartwarming family film.

I will say that Julia Roberts is getting a bit long in the tooth. Makes me feel older than usual since she's my age... :(
