Anybody know how difficult it is to install a spring and detent for a muzzle brake on a non drilled sight base? The 2 rifles are a Saiga74 and a Norinco.

It's pretty easy if the hole is there, if not, the hardest part is getting the hole in the right place. Iirc, the front pin that holds the base on, is the one that holds the pin and spring in. The detent pin hole has to be drilled into the upper half of the mounting pin hole.

CNc warrior has the detent and spring. Just hammer/punch the front pin 1/2 way out, install the spring and detent, push the detent in and hammer the pin back to its original position l.

As an aside, I was playing musical furniture this weekend and, truly, a small hammer is the most helpful tool for an AK.
