When I saw the thread title my stomach dropped, and I thought "hey that's me!" I'm going to send it out and have it dura or ceracoted do keep it rust resistant and then beat the crap out of it!

1/4 inch thick o1 I believe!

if your getting it coated get TiNi or DLC coating.
