+1 esp. Glocks. What kind of pistol?
This does happen in some double-stack magazines, due to the way they stagger.
Are you not keeping the magazine to full capacity?
I seem to have 1 round which occasionally rattles around in the magazine.
It is single stack (staggered) by the way.
Everyone seems to think that loose rounds in a magazines are normal. Anybody want to offer an explanation as to why a round is loose in the mag with a spring pushing up on the column(s). This doesn't sound right to me.
My sigpro magazines for my sp2340 (they are still steel despite the polymer frame, no polymer-covered mags) sometimes have a little "round-rattle" to them, but there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to it. Like one of the earlier posters mentioned, all it takes to remedy it is a little tap into the palm of your hand to quiet them. I haven't experienced any function issues either.
One of my mags for my SigPro 2022 has a little round rattle as well. Hasn't affected reliability at all, though I wouldn't carry with that magazine (because of the noise).
I have 6 of the 12-round sigpro mags for .357sig / .40S&W, and I have both barrels so I've shot both caliber rounds through all six mags, it seems to be present (just a little bit here and there) on all of them. It bothered me a little at first, but I don't think it's really a big deal.
