Drive past the VFW post in back of FT. Ben Harrison in Indy along Lee rd to Fall Creek rd, they have a Korean War Jet, a WWII Sherman Tank, and a navel gun of some sort at the side of the road.

Been past the South Milford potato digger on may occasions. Sometimes I wonder how it is still there, what with the major security and all.

Very cool, it would have fooled me too.

It would make an interesting thread to show photos of all of the oddball military stuff you see here and there.

I was very surprised to discover that there is a 30 lb Parrott Rifle from the Civil War in a cemetery next to the Noblesville High School.

Doggone it! Was hoping it a cannon to shoot real parrots out of!!

The VFW in James Dean territory has an impressive display of weaponry right by the side of the road.
Yes that one is impressive! If I remember correctly there is an F-4 Phantom jet, an M-48 tank, a UH-1 helicopter, and a large naval gun, possibly other things that I have forgotten.
