A client gave me a Winchester 1892 made in 1904 to conserve that is the exception to the rule. The exception? This one has a bore!

The last pic is to show where it looks like someone over the years took an ax to drift the rear sight. I can forgive him because he took good care of the insides. He even beavered up the forearm in his vigor to change the sight...

This rifle functions as new. The whole gun has been 'conserved and renovated' for appearance so, what would you think a shooter like this is worth?

The 32-20 in a 92 is a reloaders cartridge, it can be run very warm in the 92, so much so that Remington made both handgun and rifle ammo for 32-20 back when your rifle was made. During that time people would put the rifle loading in revolvers to create sort of a poor man's early magnum, but without a lot of success. That didn't stop Robert Johnson from writing the 32-20 Blues, where the lyrics talk about the damage the cartridge is going to do to his unfaithful girlfriend. In a period handgun you can get 9mm power out of the revolver loadings.

I've shot 32-20 for years and in a lot of old guns, your Winchester is one of the best ones to have for this cartridge. Enjoy.

I have one of these as well. Got it for a song from a guy who inherited it, but he wasn't a gunny and didn't want it. Manufactured sometime in the 30's.

Does anyone around the area actually have any .32-20 on their shelves?

Look on GunBroker, Starline did a run awhile back. You can also form it from Nagant revolver brass.
