I have now made it 7 months without a cigarette. To me, this is one of my best personal accomplishments. I have been "prepping" for a long time for the day when the zombies come. But I had this thought about 7 months ago, what good is all my prepping if I can't breath long enough to even carry my gear. With me closing in on the BIG 4-0 in October I want to get myself in shape. Now I won't BS you here, I put on about 30 pounds since I quit smoking, doing a lot of this and some more of this and before I knew it I felt like I smoked nearly two packs a day for the past 2 decades. So now I'm on a mission to drop 50 pounds, get back in the gym, lift weights, and get active again. So to all of those who smoke, if you want to really quit and you are dedicated to do so, you will do it. It will be rough and you will be tempted, but stick to your guns, it does get easier, and you will prove to yourself. YOU ARE STRONGER THAN THOSE CIGARETTES. Do it for yourself, do it for your family. I'm not bashing smokers here. If you are a smoker and you want to quit only you know when that time comes. If you decide to quit smoking and need a support system, INGO is a good place. I received a lot of support from a lot good people on this forum.
