50 Cal Rifle Competitions

My brother-inlaw, just recently bought a Farret 50 Cal Rifle and is wanting to compete in some competitions. Anyone know of any?

refer to your other thread for the "real" answer then... as real of an answer as i can give w/ my limited knowledge.

I don't know of anyplace in Indiana that has 50BMG competitions. Youngs Longshot is the only place I know of that even allows 50BMG to be shot into the backstop.

There may be 50 cal matches at Ft Knox, but since I don't own one, I don't pay a lot of attention...

Check with Indiana State Rifle And Pistol Association - Home they may have some info..

Pretty sure there is one in IL and maybe one in Ohio........ I am sure there is one at Knob Creek.

Check out the .50bmg forum on ar15.com (under the armory section) there's a couple of posts about upcoming events. None are in Indiana though.
