I replaced the handguard on my 308 and everything lined up perfect but it is just a little bit higher then my then my lower rail will it affect anything besides my ocd lol? thanks for any help .

Free float rail, so no since the barrel is attached to the upper receiver. It appears your free float is thicker than at the receiver. Iron would be affected.

There's 2 types of lowers for the ar10 platform. A high and low. Looks like you've got a mismatch
