I want one for sporting clays, trap, etc.

I really enjoy shooting my 410s for sporting games since there's no recoil. Unfortunately there also isn't much left of the pattern for some of the long birds in sporting clays.

I had a Remington express pump and a New England single shot in 28 gauge. Sold both. IIRC both had fixed chokes and threw patterns too tight for my needs.

I think a light O/U in 28 would be a sweet bird/small game gun with some choke tubes in IC and skeet, etc.

28 gauge shotgun shells certainly seem to be plentiful at Walmart these days.

I'll have to research some gun options. Want something light weight. Do lots of walking. Hand loading would be very easy for me.

Love 28ga, good on everything but larger waterfowl. (With modern ammo).

    What is your budget.
There is a cz bob white SxS around $700
Dolled up specail editon browning grand lighting o/u for $4k
Or a prudy and sons at $70k.
Lots of options in between those 3. Even 3 inch semi autos now.

If your good for none special edition browning citoris. $2200-$3k. There is the upland gun company. They make a gun how you want. These guns are all light desgind for hunting. Plenty of stuff on line about them.
