My 28 Nosler build has begun
I haven't built a rifle in about 6 years. Its amazing to me how fast this market changes. Going through all my parts selection was a lot easier a few years ago. When doing a build like this you want to make sure your not missing some new product that you would want later down the road...

The above thread details what I did, and why I did it. As I mentioned in that thread every few years I get a hankering to do it again, so this rifle is on the chopping block. Round count is less than 200. Accuracy is phenomenal. Furthest i have had it was 800 yards to test the custom turret's, and it put 5 rounds in a 4 inch group right on bull. Cost to build this rifle was 5400 dollars. This gun is zeroed at 200 with precision hunter factory 162 gr ammo (shot as good as my reload's through this rifle), and ready to hunt with. With this caliber and turret, you can dial to about 975 in 1 revolution. Basically instead of knowing MOA, or MRAD, you range 650, and dial to 650. Ive been skeptical of these turrets in the past due to bad experiences when they first came out in the 90's, but they have really dialed them in now. This one has been tested to 800 yards, and was way less than 1 inch off, if any.
