Many thanks to Cwood and VUPDblue for organizing this event. Also thanks to Cwood for being the major supplier of equipment for building. Excellent instruction was provided. I went from knowing absolutly nothing about this stuff to fairly easily assembling my second lower (under the watchfull eye of bigcraig.)

3) wait
4) plug-n-play

I am a multiple graduate of that program.

In related news, I broke down and replaced the Armalite tube on my Spikes lower with a VLTOR yesterday. Shoulda manned up and spent the extra $$ to begin with. The mil-spec tube from PK that I originally planned to use (and which Burl now has on one of the Twins) would've worked fine, had it not been for the short threads preventing use of the Noveske sling mount endplate I had.

In more related news, I broke down and replaced the MOE with a MIAD, as I prefer the finger-groove front and the B3 (large) backstrap, as well as the coarser texturing. I also installed an ambi safety/selector.

Now it sits in my safe, awaiting an upper...
