Im looking to sell my Ranger this weekend. Its a 1996, 2.3L, M5OD manual transmission, manual 4x4, manual hubs, manual locks, and windows. The odometer quit at 192,000. Runs, drives, stops, and 4x4 works. Made a trip to Lafayette and back just fine.
Its a bit of a rare bird being 4x4 with the 2.3L, has new plugs, wires, coil packs, Coolant temp sensor, starter, starter solenoid, and shocks. Has pretty much new mastercraft courser AXTs on it. The cap is from an s10 so it doesnt fit perfect. Theres a toolbox and heavy rubber bed mat in the bed.
The bad
-Speedometer is off with the smaller winter tires (63ish on the speedo is actually 55mph). The summer setup is spot on.
-Air bag is duct tapped
-Has 4.10 gears so it does cruise the interstate at pretty high rpms.
-Has some rattles
-No shortage of dents or peeling clearcoat
Also comes with:
-31x10.5r15 Firestone destination A/Ts with 50% tread or better on wheels (summer setup)
- Backrack and over the rail toolbox.
-Sliding rear window i havent had time to install. (The current one is fine, its just a one piece and i wanted a slider for when i haul my dogs in the bed)
Price is $1800 obo. Pick up in Ligonier. Its not perfect but it runs and drives good. Its been my daily driver for about 6 months.
