Sold For sale, 1996 Chevrolet ½ ton 2 wheel drive, extended cab pick-up. Has 5.0liter V8 engine with 5 speed manual transmission. Has 284,000 miles. Has been my daily driver since 2012. Very dependable and gets about 18mpg combined city/highway driving. The truck has a broken right side parking brake cable. I use 1[SUP]st[/SUP] and reverse for parking. The radio works, the cassette and CD players do not. City horn has a short in the steering. I installed a toggle switch for the city horn, works well. A new master cylinder was installed in December. Has the typical chevy rust on the cab corners and fenders. The truck bed is solid with no rust thru. Tires are 30% rear and 70-80% front tires. Does not burn oil and I change oil every 3000 miles.
