1911 Show-N-Tell

Here's a photo of my daily carry 1911. It's getting a bit shabby in appearance but the thing has never failed to shoot when I pull the trigger. It's got a piece of Talon Grips rubber grip tape on the front strap and an old set of VZ grips that really don't match but that do feel great. I kind of like the patina this one has acquired over the years.

I would wager to say it most likely feels like an old friend in your hand as well.........

It is a Fusion chainlink pattern (very similar to Ed Brown)...I will try to post up some better pics at more of an angle later this week.

Ah, yes... I've seen serrations on slides with that look.
From the side, I couldn't tell *what*, but knew it wasn't traditional checkering.

It does at that. It is also one of the few guns that I've not felt the need to fix anything on. Just grips and night sights and she's been good to go.

I am not a fan of bobtail either. Like the looks, but not the feel. Say with thumb notch in grips. Look cool, but I don't like them.
