This is the legacy piece I built for the daughter......she has seen/shot it but has to wait on owning it for a few.....she loves the VZ's we picked out for it. Thats her nickname on the slide. "Sissy"

Lots of us are HUGE fans of these "legacy" pieces, and those VZs really set them off aesthetically. Bet they melt right into your hands too.

Coming up on 13 years since we lost my Dad. He was a serious woodworker. He handbuilt a rocking horse for my daughter, and a sled for my son. They are true treasures in our home as I'm sure these CM masterpieces will be.

Picked up a Ruger SR1911 CMD in Stainless Steel today.

    Needs some wood grips.

Lets look at one with its cloths off.......

This was todays project. Hand fit a new barrel bushing. Fit up n ignition control package from a Dan Wesson of mine that I up-grade. The parts are forged with a true radius sear so it was a stellar improvement over the MIM factory parts. Magwell fit nicely and polished all the internals.

    And back together again.

That is a beautiful-looking gun, and the magwell just blends perfectly with the grip. Nice work! I'm sure she shoots as good as she looks!
