Just visited the St. Louis Arch. Signage seemed to indicate the friendly cops on bicycles would arrest you if you brought a firearm through the metal detector. Didn't test the theory.
Side note: Learned my shoes contain metal.
Wow.
Must be in good shape to hike the arch in the steel-toe jackboots.
You do understand that .gov has not included carrying a firearm in self-defense in the definition of a lawful purpose, right?
Their property rules are not the same as the state of Indiana's definition. Dual sovereignty/different railroad tracks, right?

In other words, the possession of the firearm must be not only lawful, but also must be for a lawful purpose that is related to the federal facility. Any other interpretation would fail to give full effect to every word in the statute.
I apologize for being so stubborn and refusing to listen to others or consider that they may have knowledge and experience which gives them useful insight into the topic.
My bad.
If you Denny this, so help me, I will never forgive you.
It's time to bring the curtain down.
This isn't some lunatic political thread like the neo-Confederates start with some deranged alternative view of history, people can go to jail if they do not understand/spew misinformation about 18 USC §930.
Hush, you. We don't want light. We want fireworks.Being prosecuted in federal court is less than optimal, even a misdemeanor.
Let's bring the light so others may avoid it.

When I first read that, I thought it said, "Deny! Deny! Deny!"
Which also kinda fits into this thread.
