I have been looking for .17 mach2 for sometime now with no success. Other than seeing it on gun broker for .40 cents a round I have had no luck. Has anybody seen any lately ?

Thanks for the heads up. I gave them a call but the fellow I talked to said they had none in stock. They did have .17HMR , .17WSM & .17 hornet.

Go to the Midway USA website, look up the .17 Mach 2 ammo, and click the "Notify Me" button. You can enter an email address and they will let you know if/when they have it in stock. If/when you are notified, order it IMMEDIATELY!

I saw three boxes (50 rounds each) at the Evansville gun show last weekend. The guy was asking $35 a box for them.

Saw a bunch at the last Valpo show and Crown Point. Sure it was priced too high though.

I was looking for HMR then noticed the 18 per box price tag. Needless to say he took it back home with him.

I am sure your best bet would be to order on-line from someplace. Probably just missed some great holiday deals.

$18 per box for .17 Mach 2 is actually pretty reasonable these days, I've been seeing it sell for $20/box + shipping on Gunbroker...which is the only place online that I have been able to find it. This caliber is simply not being made right now because the parent case is .22 LR. Your best bet is to keep your eyes open for old stocks of .17 Aguila aka .17 PMC since this proprietary caliber was the forerunner of .17 Mach 2 and will function in .17 Mach 2 firearms (but may not cycle semi-autos). Mach2 has been coming in lately. Seems it is a once a year run from CCI under hornady's label. Keep your eyes open. Last case I bought (2000 rds) was $6 a box. New old stock remington about 6 months ago.

Check rimfire central in the mach2 ammo thread. I've seen it recently at Cabela's in Wheeling.
