This. I remember watching the plane fly into the second tower live. Are the conspiracies theories trying to tell us that didn't happen? I mean... really?
The steel alone was ~ 200K metric tons, and the concrete was 780K metric tons. Add the dead load and live load, and you easily get over 1M metric tons. Okay, possibly not "several" but we have no firm numbers for the dead/live loads.

The record is 439' tall (Hudson's dept store in Detroit), and that wasn't "tube-in-a-tube".

We are looking at a very small issue here. What took place was much, much bigger.

The temperature from the firescould not have melted steel, much less have caused the steel to remain moltenfor weeks. So, what caused such intense and prolonged heat reported by numerouswitnesses?
7. Independent investigators found compellingevidence of expended military grade Thermite at the towers. The use of Thermitewould explain why/how the buildings collapsed and why molten steel persistedunderground for weeks. Why wasn’t thepentagon evacuated? The official story said a third large passenger plane hitthe pentagon. However, on the scene reporters and the evidence led many toquestion this as well. We are told that most of the plane just “vaporized” whenit hit the pentagon, but almost 200 victims were later identified through DNAtesting! How can both possibly betrue?
12. Flight data recorder information from thegovernment shows that the cockpit door never opened after takeoff. No credible evidence of this large plane havinghit the pentagon has ever been produced. The entry hole in the pentagon wasexceedingly small (15-18 feet wide) comparedto a jumbo jet. Over 80 videos were immediately confiscated by governmentagents. After more than 10 years they remain unavailable for independent scrutiny.
13. Severalrings within the pentagon were breached, though that part of the building was substantiallyreinforced. How could a plane, which ispurposely made of strong but light weight material, have done such damage? Our government says therewas damage to the voice data recorder and no data was usable. Of all thecrashes which have occurred, this is yet another “first” of a crash destroyinga solid-state data recorder.
14. While the towers & pentagon were attacked,over a dozen military exercises pulled many jet fighters far from NewYork/Washington area. False radar blips were used for the “first” time. Strict procedural protocol, including the scramblingof fighter jets, was NOT FOLLOWED onthat day.
15. Citizen groups continue to question officialaccounts of the pentagon attack. “Pilots for Truth” question how a novice smallplane pilot could have flown a large commercial plane through a maneuver thateven seasoned pilots could not achieve. Consider that the plane’s speed was beyondits controllable limits.
16. A fourth hijackedplane was still in the air and headed for Washington. It didn’t reach thatdestination because either the plane crashed straight down into the earth, asthe passengers tried to overpower the hijackers, or the plane was shot down by ourmilitary. The debris field was said to extend for 8 miles. Also, the gash in the earth (where the planewas said to have crashed) was shown on Google Earth prior to 911. Why did the media coalesce around theofficial 911 explanations and then withdraw access to their own videos that werecontradictory? Why did the media stop investigating/reporting on all of the unanswered911 questions? Why does the FBI continue to insist it has no proof Bin Ladenwas responsible for the 9/11 attack?
3. Why in May 2001, after 50 years of success, wasthe scrambling of aircraft transferred to Sec. Defense and V.P.? Why then wereDick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Gen. Myers, allabsent during the first hour of the attack?

Why, after hearing of the second crash, did the Presidentcontinue to sit with the children in a Florida classroom for another 15 minutesand then stay at the school for yet another 15-20 minutes beyond that?
