    I think I may have found a better option. Something like this.


    The only downside is, if I want to put this in the lower level, the top edge of the heater would be at eye level. The block foundation wall is about 4' tall.
    We bought a ventless propane heater like that. Works well. Ours is about 2-1/2 feet high. I can dig it out and tell you which one it is if you want
