12V Diesel heater (or two) as an emergency house heater?

I think I may have found a better option. Something like this.

The only downside is, if I want to put this in the lower level, the top edge of the heater would be at eye level. The block foundation wall is about 4' tall.

If you want it lower and need to exhaust it out you can bore thru a block foundation pretty easily!

Was wondering if you had a bilevel or trilevel when you said 4 ft block walls, chimneys are easy to build i have done them so it can't be all that hard

We bought a ventless propane heater like that. Works well. Ours is about 2-1/2 feet high. I can dig it out and tell you which one it is if you want
