well, if it’s spinning it’s not wedged so it has to be a cog tooth that’s been damaged or it’s not lined up.
mine doesn’t seem to want to come out in all positions.
I have to keep rotating it until I find the sweet spot.
If you have a couple of old dies laying around you could screw them opposite each other then use a screwdriver or pry bar to rotate the die holder slightly with light pressure.
I assume that the cogs are wedged and needs to be rotated one way or the other to free it.
The only other thing you can...
This is just my opinion but inspection of brass is a very important step in my quality control process so that being said, I use my eyes because I am inspecting every case, every time anyway. If one happens to slip through my initial inspection and sorting I will catch it once I put them in the...
Good info to know PartyBoy, thanks for the info. If you want a hot .45 ACP load try some #7 powder lol. I used the middle powder charge and it pops harder than my .357..........good stuff
Well there you go! I stick with using 3 resources and none referenced TITEWAD. Just goes to show that you have to do some digging around to find recipes to accommodate which powders are available. I have my favorites and stick with them and so far I have not had to settle for a different powder...
I buy 5.56 Military pick-up brass that has date stamps as old as the late 80's sometimes. It is tarnished with a green or black tint to it and some have been stepped on and crushed to the point of not being useable but I am amazed at how much junk looking brass I can bring back to life with a...
Ii's actually TITEGROUP that is an awesome powder that will work in 9mm and .45 ACP in most circumstances and common grain bullet choices.
I show no use for TITEWAD in any of my data for 9 or 45
As my neighbors were abandoning their houses earlier last month, when my neighborhood lost power for 4 days, I was hooking up a cheap generator that was borrowed from a friend that came from Aldi's. I was able to run my furnace, fridge, entertainment center, and some lights. My pipes didn't...
I found two 50rnd. boxes of Federal Match HV .22lr at a lgs last week. Price was decent and I was willing to pay it. The salesman said they usually have some out every week for general sale.
Thanks dubsac! Just ordered tickets for my girlfriend and I and looking forward to having some fun with fellow Ingo'ers and supporting the NRA.
Say my name! Lol
I guess no one remembers the Boy Scout leader that got his throat slashed while hiking through the woods. You just never know what dangers are lurking in unexpected places.
I gave up being in the right place at the right time with 22LR......I was able to back order 2000 rounds recently and should get it eventually. I was lucky enough to score a box of 9mm at Wal-Mart the other day while doing random shopping.
