      Tavor SAR vs. X95--Which Is Better & Why?

      Although I have no experience with the SAR, I love my X95! Near perfect for close range badassery. Added a weapon light and a meprolight rds to mine and wouldn't have anything else. Called IWI for another rail cover to grind and to fill in the empty rail space after installing the light

      Weapon light for Tavor

      I called IWI customer service about buying an additional rail cover so I could cut one to make room for the weapon light while sill covering the resort of the rail. Without hesitation he asked me my address and said a new rail cover was on its way free of charge. Big +1 for IWI customer service.

      Weapon light for Tavor

      I did pull the TRL 1 off my glock and on the x95 last night and it was not bad at all with the rotory switch. Mounted it on the left hand rail (I'm right handed) and was able to use the rotary switch with my left hand rather easily. I might just stick with that for now. I do love the rail...

      Why the decline in SHTF/HD shotguns?

      ARs are selling because of a perceived potential ban. Joe Biden says we should have shotguns so we know those are far down the line. People are stocking up on what they might not be able to down the road... Has little to do with best home defense choice.

      I have the Tru-Dot RDS on it and freaking LOVE it. Great piece and seems very well built and practical.       i did not care for the MRO at all although it seemed like a very high quality product. I like a bigger and more "open" field of view. Same can be said for the aimpoints for my preferences. This is being said, I've not yet handled the Tru-dot :nailbite:

      Thank you for all the input. I ended up ordering the meprolight tru-dot rds sight as it really seemed like the best value for the platform and my needs. Looking forward to trying it out as this will be my first higher end red dot optic and it seems like a great fit for the Tavor

      What would make you choose the pro over the tru dot version? It really seems to me the only difference is the knob and hood.
