Please forgive my ignorance, I'm not a LEO, but I have to ask, why would a cop want to take the time to search a vehicle he didn't have probable cause to search in the first place? Suspicion? Intuition? Fishing expedition? Impressing a councilman?
Great news: my secretary, receptionist, file clerk, and even my favorite waitress are all all lump free! Thanks for the post I feel (no pun intended) like a new man.
Yet another example of why I'm thankful we have elected prosecutors in Indiana. A cop can arrest anyone, but its a prosecutor's exclusive decision to charge. If a rural prosecutor in Indiana decided to charge this vet, how would the next election go for him?
I've been to their website and see the banner. Before I jump to any conclusions, I am wondering if there is any independent verification that the Government is taking their stuff? A letter from the government for example?
I read lots of posts here from men who either say:
a) I went to dinner with my wife.
or
b) I went to dinner with the wife.
So is it "my wife" or "the wife"?
Which is correct?
I like Huntington, too. I fired Chase for my business last year and moved everything to Huntington. They are much more responsive to our company's frequent banking needs. I'm very happy so far. Bonus for me: I'm on the south side and my branch manager is a big gun guy. And an instant friend.
Statistically, bank robbers rob 2.3 banks successfully before they are killed or apprehended.
My friend, a branch manager, told me this several years ago. I thought it was a fascinating statistic.
I know you weren't. I didn't take it that way. We only get to be parents once, and without any practice, so we're bound to make mistakes. I'd like some re-do's on a few things I did as a parent.
