      Inner Circle and Looter Mentality

I'm with you man. If we take that mentality, he's going to be the one that we'll need to defend ourselves from. He would be worse than just a looter. A looter just steals, a thug like him steals with the treat of death. A true survivor is the man who prepares properly to provide for his...

      beaver problem multiple dams

I trap beaver I do a good bit of trapping in season. I wouldn't have a problem coming out to trap them for you. I just would need to know how far your place is. Either way, I wouldn't mind giving you a few tips on taking them out yourself, you just may have to get some equipment to do so...

      Wilderness Survival School

I enjoyed the New Jersey location. It was, after all, where Tom trained under the tutledge of Stalking Wolf. It was kind of neat to visit Grandfather's camp, and see a lot of the areas that Tom talked about in his books. However, there are locations in California (the land of fruits & nuts)...

2009 - What have you done to Prepare this week?

Storage What is used for long term storage of perishable items? Vacume sealed containers, etc? Does anyone know of a good way to bury weapons while keeping them in excellent working condition?

      Wilderness Survival School

Those of you who are interested in learning primitive survival for yourselves, I strongly recommend Tom Brown's Tracking, Nature, & Wilderness Survival school. I've been to the school myself and each experience was just epic. I would also suggest reading some of Tom Brown's books. He...

Radio for when Cell Phones won't work

When I was in Iraq, a couple of us had hand generated radios. They did not require batteries. There is actually a small hand crank on it. You have to crank it every few minutes, but they work fine and you don't have to worry about stocking up on batteries.

A Psychiatrist Examines The Anti-Gun Mentality

Motivating article. I've noticed that there are even a lot of conservatives who are indifferent to the gun issue. I've even met with some resistance to firearms from conservatives. I don't think they would be that way with freedom of speech or freedom of religion. All amendments should be...
