HCFG Appleseed in Noblesville on July 27 and 28

Great weekend! Thanks to Spitfire51, Stagehandsteve, Grunt soldier, and Josh for awesome instruction. Had a great group of people to shoot with too. Congrats to Dnurk on the orange hat, you'll be a great addition! I'm checking the calendar tonight to see how quickly I can get back on the line.

Thanks for all the offers of equipment. I was able to get a sling swivel and sling today. Should be good to go. Thanks again!

Thanks, spitfire51. I think I can probably get everything I need tomorrow but if not I may take you up on the sling. Thanks again.

Thanks, dnurk! I appreciate the advice. It does have a picatinny rail and a fixed sling attachment on the stock. I'll look around tomorrow and see if I can't pick up a sling swivel for it. If I can't find one I may take you up on your offer. Again I really appreciate it. Looking forward to...

HCFG Appleseed in Noblesville on July 27 and 28

Grunt Soldier (or anyone else who can respond), I'm borrowing a S&W 15-22 for this Appleseed and do not have a sling for it, can I get by without one? I'm bringing my son and he's shooting my .22, which has a sling. Not sure whether or not to try and remedy this before Saturday or if I can get...

      ATLANTA CONSERVATION CLUB 4/14-4/15

I had a blast today! A little soggy but otherwise a great day to shoot and learn some American history. The instructors were great and the range was awesome. There's not many things that compare to seeing your shot group move onto the target! I originally was not going to be able to make it for...

      Current LTCH Wait

I turned in all the appropriate lifetime LTCH ppwk and money, and got fingerprinted at the Madison Co. SD the "old fashioned way", on Jan 10. In yesterday's mail I received my ISP envelope, with the pink paper inside! Took just under 7 weeks, I was expecting 8 or more, so it could've been worse...

      Appleseed at MCFG!

This doesn't necessarily apply to the OP, but I just signed me and my son up for the Appleseed at the Atlanta Conservation Club on April 14-15. We're both really looking forward to it. Didn't look like there were many signed up for that one yet either.

Robert Welch Warns The End of US Sovereignty

I would have thought he gave that speech yesterday, if I hadn't know the date. They were definitely on to something.

      Current LTCH Wait

I don't know what the average wait is but I can tell you I'm at 5 weeks. ISP told me "8 weeks" is their time frame, so I'm guessing I have another 3 weeks or so.
