Dumbest thing you have DONE with a gun.

And judging that the LAW hasn't been trained on in at least 10 years, that lady, if she stayed in very well may be a LTC. We always had a joke about the accessions rank before commissioning. Q: What do you call the CDT that is ranked last the day after graduation? A: 2LT

Who All Has Bought Someone Elses Filthy Used Firearm?

I wouldn't be opposed to buying a dirty used firearm FTF since chances are they will be selling it below value. Thankfully all my FTF deals have been relatively clean. I would NEVER buy a used gun from a dealer though....if it's dirty in their showcase then who says they didn't rig it up...

      Car broken into

The past few day's I've been thinking about what happened and what I'll be doing in the future. I'm definitely purchasing a lock box for the vehicle. While it won't be as secure as my safe at home, it should prevent a smash and grab type scenario. This also means that I will not be carrying...

      Car broken into

IndyRoadie is spot on. While I will take it to and from work with me, I won't carry at work. The P32 was my car gun, something that I can keep in there and easily take from my car and stick in my back pocket if I'm not carrying something larger concealed at the time. It's always there...

      Car broken into

Not going to say the company name, but this was unusual for our property. Especially since my car was in front of the front door of the business. I'm locating a camera to the parking lot, and guess who's car it will be pointing at? Anyone have any suggestions on a vehicle pistol lockbox...

      Car broken into

I work at 38th and Drive-By. Over by 38th and Post.

      Car broken into

Broad daylight, middle of the day. Someone broke into my car at work. Stole over a grand worth of stuff including a Kel-Tec P32 that was locked in the glove box. I guess I'm going to have to buy a lock box for the car now since it will probably remain a target at work now.

Old school gamers. What was your First online game?

I played Duke Nukem and Rise of the Triad over 14.4 modems back in the day. The first "Online" game in the sense that it was server hosted and connected through the internet and not using a modem handshake would have been Half-Life.

      Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC)

My days of caring a SAW, a tripod, a spare barrel, PVS-4, and all the ammo are long since past ;) I hung up my blue cord a couple of years ago when I commissioned. I still like to teach the weapon classes though ;)

      Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC)

I'll be packing my ACOG. I'm not going to count on getting issued what I want. Besides, why spend that much on optics never to actually use it for what it was intended for.

      Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC)

I thin that the main problem that people have when trying to BAC is that their eyes don't move in unison. If they are a right handed shooter their right eye stays focused on the reticle while their left eye wanders ever so slightly. It's taken me a while to get it down, but now I'm confident...

      How often you clean...

Just make sure that the AK has a light coat on it since cases are notorious for turning into little moisture clams.

      Indy Mini-Marathon...

Glad to see I wasn't the only one that ran it. I was going to skip it but decided the last minute (well, Thursday) that I would run it. I have been running but nothing over 4 miles. I ended up at like 2:19 so I wasn't happy with my time but I certainly wasn't disappointed since I hadn't...

      Good motorcycle for a beginner?

I definitely wouldn't go with the FZ6 as a starter bike. I am thinking it could be my second.

      Good motorcycle for a beginner?

Thanks for all the advice guys, I think that I would prefer a something along the lines of a Yamaha FZ6 eventually, but for now I'll see if I can find something in the $1000-1500 range. It seems like the bikes in that range have already depreciated all that they are going to and when I sell...

      Good motorcycle for a beginner?

As for experience, I have riden bicycles for years. Also dirt bikes and scooters without issue. I am tall though with a 36" inseam.

      Good motorcycle for a beginner?

Can some of you people that have experience with motorcycles help me out on this one? I have never owned a motorcycle before but have wanted one for a while. I would like to get something that is good for a beginner. I don't want anything that fancy for the first bike, but just something...

      Anyone homebrew?

I'd really love to. This is all new to me, but even with the Mr. Beer "training" wheels it was incredibly interesting. I have four of the Mr. Beer kits that I will use and if I still find it as interesting I would like to move to the more complicated options like actually making my own wort...

      Anyone homebrew?

So here is a question for you...what is the beer supposed to look like when it is fermenting? I'm not opening it up, but it's just kind of cloudy and yuck when I shine a surefire at it. The bottom is full of gunk. I always thought that the yeast would make it a little more active than what it...
