    That's a very expensive Taurus! Looks like a lot of fun, though.

    I like the idea of the .460, although I've never shot one. The ability to load and shoot .45 Colt and .454 Casull through it makes for a more versatile gun than the .500, IMO, and .45 components are easier to find and cheaper.

    I'm not a handgun hunter, and my woods needs are more related to backpacking and fishing, so lightweight .44 mags are about as crazy as I've gotten. I haven't been able to justify an X-frame sized gun...at least not yet. I'd love to hear a range report on that thing once you have it in-hand!

    How long is that barrel?
    I have the Raging Bull in .454Casull.
    It wears an 8-3/8" ported barrel, but it doesn't look anywhere near that long.

    Thats a wild lookin one! I've got the S&W 460 XVR, its a crazy powerful round. Fun to get out and let your friends try it for the first time. Its funny shooting 45lc cowboy loads out of. Feels like shooting 9mm.
