      Question for the ebayers.

Agreed with the posters here, sellers can send offers if you "watch" an item. Ebay will also send me notices for things I've searched for but I believe that's a notification item you can turn off for your account.

Ramp Traffic Lights And Variable Speed Limits On 465…

Yes I'd love to see the traffic light logic. If the queue line is full does it stop metering to try and clear the surface road intersection? What happens when the interstate is a parking lot and cars still want to merge? Variable speed limits have never made sense to me. Speed limits are...

Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapses in Baltimore

That just means they're investigating, doesn't say anything about whether it was an accident or not. Additionally, their investigation is into whether the ship left the port knowing it had issues. I'll further go out on a limb here and guess that they knew there were issues but didn't expect...

Is there a good GPS app for android?

The GPS Status app from the play store will give you a constant readout of the coordinates its receiving, how many satellites it is tracking and what the error rate is. That said, with my Pixel 5 the best error rate I could get was 12 feet. Don't know if that's a device or software limitation.

      A Tritoon Boat for Skiing?

For the most part skier experience will be more important than power/handling. It only takes ~15-25 MPH to ski. Going faster is personal preference or for professionals. Handling isn't really a concern unless you're trying to make 180 degree turns as tightly as possible. Some time ago I was...

Venting not all it’s cracked up to be, d@#n it!

I don't think anyone would say you should keep it bottled that would mean you're not addressing the issue.

      Battery charger suggestiona

Be careful finding one of these that does not overcharge the battery. Older battery chargers simply target a voltage and never reduce it once the battery is fully charged.

Venting not all it’s cracked up to be, d@#n it!

I can see both things. I yell at traffic all the time and then move on 30 seconds later. I doubt this is what the article is talking about though. I've been in situations where part of me wants to let go and rage but then another part of me notes that it won't actually help the situation, it...

      Battery charger suggestiona

ctek makes good stuff. That said, battery charging technology is relatively strait forward and most of the Amazon maintainers will do the job. Provide enough voltage and current to get the battery to full charge, then backoff the voltage and current to keep the SOC constant without...

Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapses in Baltimore

Against a ship that large, has it been proven that the dolphins would actually deflect enough energy? Or would they themselves simply be pushed into the pilings leading to the same result?

LE types, Approaching a house at night?

Is it even advisable any more to show camera footage sans warrant? IMO the cameras are there for me, not for everyone else.

      Daylight Saving Time

Pulling a shade in a single room does not signal your body to start shutting down as a proper sunset does.

      Tough market...

I recently interviewed a candidate that may have been using ChatGPT or another generative AI for the interview. At first i just thought he was spouting out a bunch of different things he had done without answering the questions. The other person on the call with me said the answers sounded AI...

      PC Gaming

You're mostly right but the overall numbers are skewed against "Windows" because of IOT devices. I would be curious on the percentage of desktop/laptop computers running Windows and what version.

      Daylight Saving Time

We have reached the point where an array of LEDs can practically replicate the sun for a defined space. You are welcome to get one of these fine inventions and let the rest of us sleep.
