      For what its worth I was hit three times in the torso with 7.62x39 but the one that ended my career and almost cost me my life and leg was in in the hip. You dont have to make a head shot to stop a determined attacker.

      Private insurance wouldn't work. Soldiers don't get paid enough as it is, they could never afford the premiums on an insurance plan that would cover what they do.
