Depends on how bad it is. If it gets crusty, then no. But if it's just miscolored or tarnished then probably so. Really just depends on what it looks like. I'd pick it up and reload it or sell it to buy more ammo.
It's 2AM and I don't have it in front of me. But, I've used Clays (not Universal or International) and Clay Dot in 45 small primed and large primed. The were always within .1 grain of each other to get same velocity, accuracy and function from semi autos (1911s, Glocks and XDs). It's definitely...
I've loaded a few thousand more. Lubing every 20th case or so. I have had a few tight ones still and a couple still get stuck. I've retumbled brass and cleaned everything. Checked alignment and used multiple dies. I give up. It's better since lubing the cases every so often, but I'm still at a...
Andrew at Profire let me borrow his 9mm sizing die for an hour or so. It didn't feel much different but sized the brass .001-.002" different than my die (1 has 10,000 rounds through the it, 1 was new, his has hundreds of thousands of rounds through it). I can only assume the difference is due to...
The lube helps with the loading process, but doesn't cure the sticking issue. Also, the shell plate is correct and is getting a good grip and rips off the rim 2/3 of the way around the brass.
My brass is tumbled in corncob/walnut media. It's got a little NuFinish in with it. It's been in the...
No bulge before going through sizing and no bulge after getting unstuck. The die isn't "squashing" the bottom of the brass in any way that I can see. It's also random brands of brass that have done this. FC, Blazer, Rem, Federal and Win. After getting them unstuck the OAL isnt too long for 9mm...
Having trouble with sizing. Miscellaneous 9mm brass, tumbled clean. Fired from Glocks, M&Ps, 92FS and couple others. On my Dillon 550 I have run into a problem several times. It started this past Winter. Occasionally a piece of brass will get stuck in the sizing die. I have to remove the die...
Last year I got the HST from you in MOA/MOA 4-16x44 and I'm still very pleased with it. Now I'm looking at the HST and PST 6-24x50s. Going on another Rem 700 that will be shot at a max of 800 yards for a while. Mostly midday and sun use but the occasional overcast days and a hunting trip to...
I'm surprised that they didn't design the 42 to be compatible with 9mm so that when the 43 was introduced it would be same physical dimensions. Other than that I will seriously look at one for pocket/ankle carry. But I will stick with the 19 for carry.
Thread in October that was similar but didn't really have the info I wanted. Tried searching through a couple other sites like M4 and ARF but everything I found was several years old or older. Found some info on ST, FN, DD, Noveske but in 6 years a lot changes and was hoping that I'd find...
