I would say that neither one is significantly better nor different than the other no matter what their political seasoning is when it comes down to current policy. In that aspect if DeSantis is said to be nothing “special” then DeWine isn’t either. It's a wash.

When it comes to Trump neither of them has a very good relationship with him at the present time. Trump has trashed the both of them.

As a matter of fact, Trump and DeWine are currently at odds with each other by backing opposing candidates in the Ohio Senate primary. Trump endorses Moreno, DeWine endorses Dolan.
