I honestly am not sure what to do with a HAM radio. I don't really get the appeal. I understand emergency communications. I do have an emergency 2-way satellite communicator and that goes with me when I am out past cell service, on the motorcycle in rural areas, etc etc etc.

So what is the appeal for HAM radio? I'm sure I'm missing something, but I just don't see the point.

But not sure I want to talk to random strangers who have no life . . . besides, you already hang out here!

I don’t have any experience with them….. but if you’re like me and hate buying clothes and accessories you should take a peek at the kore belts……. Will never have a notch belt again. I don’t know where they are made or any specifics like that your belt man looks pretty fancy and made in the USA so he’s got a lot going for him also.

The social aspect is obviously a big part of it but the other half is the technical part, learning and experimentation, seeing how far you can make contacts and whatnot.

Also if the ISS is passing overhead during an astronauts free time you can have the opportunity to talk to them. How many people can say they talked to someone in space.

Near as I understand it, the auto-injectors, cartridge/pen injectors are only used for small quantities of fluids.

Consequently the Cimzia required real needles and syringes. Each of the Cimzia shots has the same amount of liquid as 5 of my new Enbrel injections, and I had to take 2 of the Cimzia shots for each dose. I'm glad to be done with that medicine but honestly I'd keep doing it if it had actually worked better for me.
When I switched to medicare, the Cimzia jumped from $800/mo to $8000/mo. I was barely managing the $800, but there was no way. Cimzia was working better, but I could not afford it. Skyrizi it is because it's the only one where I can get patient assistance (no cost).

As for the beltman belt jedi bought one 12 years ago that has finally died. Stitching has come apart, leather is all worn out, internal stiffer has seen better days.

Thus it's time for another one.

I have 2, buffalo leather very comfortable not nearly as rigid. then the tactical nylon stiff as a board
Bought 2 of the Kore buffalo then stained them black. Satin chrome buckle on one, black buckle on the other. Saved a few bucks and got to play with leather dye.

Yeah I was talking to you in the belt thread about it…. I got the same ugly buffalo one that was on sale…….. then after I got it realized I don’t mind it. Has a gold buckle light tan leather. Nylon one is black on black.

I bet the buffalo one would deform if it had the weight of your edc EVERYDAY. I wear that one when I pocket carry.
