Got the new heeled bullets working today, I'll end up shooting the remaining HBWC ammo up in a Colt 1889. These halved the groups I was getting before and I was able to run higher charges of powder.

Those are some beautiful guns, and I'm glad that the new bullets worked so well, LE !

However, I have a question. What's on that tray at the top of your photo .... flint, arrowheads, points, fossils ?

Possibly yes. Because my .308 shoots for crap since I had the barrel threaded.
No sir it’s not. It’s making 6” groups at 50 yards. Absolutely all over the place.

When I ordered my Vudoo 22LR, they would not thread my barrel of choice due to the method used to rifle it. Apparently some methods of rifling build stress in the steel and subsquent reducing of the barrel diameter for threading would allow the barrel/bore to expand at the wosrt place...the muzzle, and degrade accuracy.

I don't think they were talking 6" at 50 yards degradation though.

They told me the same thing. Slug it, cut it and torque it. Nothing else.

I've wiped a little drool off of my keyboard watching that one as well, but I'm not a buyer.

I've never owned an Annie. I should start looking at them...2024, the year of the Annie???
