If only you could get flames to shoot out of 'em like some ratrods!
There are kits you can get for that... but I won't be going that route.
I have enough screwy ideas as it is...

Just mounted a Mustang wide touring solo seat on it today. Had to make brackets for it of course as it's for a Harley Softtail.
Also put on a Harley dresser chrome light bar for the plates. Never got to wire it up cause it started raining again.

A few hundred more and the whole bike could have been American, At least now it can identify its from Milwaukee.

Just got back last night from a quick trip to NC for a little riding and leaf looking. After driving there we rode from Fontana Village Resort to Tapoco Tavern for supper. Too late for a longer ride. It gets cold and dark early this time of year in the mountains. Next day we rode Moonshiner 28 to Franklin for lunch the back via Wayah Road into Robbinsville. Short 130 mile trip but still awesome.

OK, cool... Give me a few hundred.

And no... there ain't no Harley for a few hundred more.
Not one running good enough to buy.
I'm less than $2,500 in, as is. (changes included)

I guess it will have to be happy being from Marysville, OH.

First I was teasing, If you gonna hang in the Motorcycle thread put your fun shirt on next time. Second you're doing OK.

I might?? have a extra set of tank emblems you can have.

And You absolutely can buy a Sportster or a twin cam for that.

Like I said... not one worth having... Sportster? Come on man... I'm a fat old retired cripple.

Just curious, but what do the tank emblems look like?
I was thinking of having the local gut do me up some veteran memorial "all gave some, some gave all" type graphics for it over the winter.

    Ever ridden a 1200 Sportster?
Vintage NOS black red and chrome 1947-50 Big Twin emblems.
    Like these, just not repros.

LOL, Im not giving them away.

I would look at getting it "wrapped" instead of paint.

Those look cool. You got me thinking... I like old style things.
Not sure how people would take to seeing them on a Honda Shadow though.
I'm too old to be getting in a lot of fights...

A "wrap" is what I was talking about.

BTW, only Harley I ever rode was a buddies Sturgis, and that was like in the mid 80S.
Loved it, but it cost what my car did.

If you would have bought one, Its worth more today that it costs then.
When they pop up for sale, they tend to sell quickly.
In 1980 I bought a new FXS Low Rider, its easily worth a few thousand more today than when I bought it. Along with 43 years of fun.

They wouldn't take kindly to the HD emblems on a Honda. I suspect Creed was ribbing you and he knows that. Keep going with what you got. If you like it run with it. No judging here. I've pretty much rode every brand and type out there at one time or another. I only wish I could still just get on two wheels and go for a ride but alas that is no longer possible for me.

I follow a channel on YT called Shadetree Surgeon and he rides the **** out of everything on two wheels from dirt bikes and old school choppers, various HD's and old Honda Goldwings and everything in between and he just enjoys the ride. That's kind of the way I was. He and his cohorts are Tampa based but he's taken cross country trips on various types of bikes quite often. If they're not tinkering on their bikes, they are riding them like most hardcore bike enthusiasts do. It's a way of life on two wheels no matter what the brand.
