And now for what I meant to say to this:

I mean those most likely to be militant and "dangerous" will be "in-country" in places like Iran where they are fed propaganda and encouraged to be militant and be motivated by groupthink and mob mentality. That will offset those spread across the world who are NOT militant and not likely to do anything.

Another example would be the headscarf issues. You dont typically hear about muslim "progressive" women who cast off the headscarf being beaten to death outside those fundamentalist countries by their fellow muslims. Once again, sponsorship, groupthink, and mobs.

Do those militants exist here? Sure. Are they the majority? Probably not. Are they likely to be dangerous and actually ACT on the murderous impulses against the Jews or other infidels? Not likely. But if some moron were to do it, they'd cheer.
Which takes us back to the majority of Muslims being militant, which is where we started.

The majority of Germans weren't militant in 1939.
You're really equating Germans in the 30s with all of the World's Muslims today?

We aren't discussing a country or even a region. We are talking about an estimated 2.2+ billion people across the whole World.

You say microchip fabs, I say corn exports, and someone else says something else and it never ends.

I think the point is to keep radical islamists from exterminating a nation, when we’re next on the list.

We can grow corn, and we'll soon be able to have all the microchips we want with domestic fabs.

They're no closer to exterminating us now than they were in 2001, and I don't think it'd be possible to kick the hornet's nest harder than we already have. We have real geopolitical threats, such as China.
We already went down the road to dealing with islam, and did so for over 20 straight years. And in my personal opinion, I think we did more to broaden radical islam and gain it funding from our geopolitical rivals.

We're best off shutting up and staying out of it, unless we want to make matters infinitely worse.

I mean we're now funding it directly so how are we really going to make **** worse?

Well, you'll have to distinguish between real, church-going Christians, and nominal Christians, because when the secular sociologists do so in their studies, it makes a big difference. "Evangelical" Christians (their word, not mine) have the least domestic violence, lowest divorce rate, and highest marital satisfaction of ALL social groups studied. Nominal Christians are the exact opposite.

You might be tempted to say the same thing about devout vs. secular Muslims.

Then you would have to go into their scriptures to see what they are told to do.

Quite a few Surahs and Hadiths explain how and when to kill or subjugate infidels and how women are second-class citizens, but I'm having trouble finding verses in the New Testament that say the same.
