Nobody around this mentally challenged person could see this coming???

The cops/FBI probably would have found him in no time on TV. They are just way more bumbling in real life.

The article stated someone snitched on him, police tracked it Polo Run wifi, they couldn't ID and individual so it was dropped. At least one person tried to prevent it with the snitch. Although I'm not sure what can be done to someone that has a weird proclivity to watch and read about mass murderers which is all the snitch said about him per the article.

They could have shot everybody and burned the whole place down.

They cant. Thats a fed option. And since there were no teens walking around or women standing in doorways holding an infant, there was nothing they could do.

Fortunately that option is not available to local LEOs.

So why the **** are we posting the shooters name and pictures?
If "we" is me in this case, it was to show the similar appearance. Mental illness, MIA father, (often) drug addict mother, no social skills, incel, same haircut, are boxes checked quite often.

When the GPM shooter's pick showed up on the local news site the light bulb came on.

GPD never ever patrolled that mall until this happened and now they do every single day.

    Just saying.
That is not true. While they might not have been in there every day, they were in there multiple times a week, the K9 made a walk through at least once a week, and officers routinely patrolled the exterior and parking areas every shift. At least this is the way it was twenty years ago when I was the assistant security director there and was the GPD liaison. And my friend who is a current GPD sergeant has confirmed that it has been a daily checklist item for each officer to try and make a foot or vehicle patrol of the mall every shift since he has been on.

And if people around him thought he was crazy and dangerous, then what?
It is probably best not to take any action yourself - like don't shoot him or anything - you would just get your own butt in a sling.

I would say to report him to the FBI. They won't actually do anything either but it would make them look bad when he does erupt. :)

That was two decades ago and it is true.

And if people around him thought he was crazy and dangerous, then what?
We often had four legged critters around the farm that were crazy and dangerous.

They were dispatched and thrown into the burn pit.

When it comes to two legged critters that are crazy and dangerous, state wants a monopoly.
