We had cars going stupid fast over this when we crossed it on each tour. My car was tramming hard so I didn't dare approach 60 as it felt very unstable.

Driving in Cali was always fun, especially in the rain. Accidents everywhere as they don't know how to drive in rain in Southern Cali

Took the Escape in for a brake seeming to be hanging up, and 150k maint.

Of course, the brakes were on their best behavior.


The front brakes are needing to be done, and of course, they didn't have the brakes.
So, next week the brakes get done. (front)

But the 150k maint is a bit of stuff, so I still got stuck with $$$$

crossed it on the bike, calm hot day so uneventful. we really enjoy mackinaw island/city

Change all the brake hoses, especially up front.

good for you! I gave platelets today. Only downside for me is with driving time it takes ~ 5 hours, but they usually get 3 units out of me form ~2.5 hours in the chair. Gives me a chance to binge something on TV or listen to a recorded book.
