You’ve never heard of Guy Relford’s show? He is talked about all the time here.

And you can find his shoes on YouTube.

    He sells shoes too?

    Lol. Stupid iPhone.

I’m still shocked he didn’t know who Guy is…. Or am I being punked?

It’s still early and my coffee is still brewing.
Not everyone is "from round here". Kind of like when I bring up Tunnelton and @GodFearinGunTotin is the only one who knows where that is... no it's more the opposite of that.

The YouTube option is really cool and definitely expands the area who can tune in (or log on I guess.) On YouTube I'm Kelly Inavon (wish I'd have thought of that sooner) I think I've logged in twice, once I got in an argument in the comments section with some dude who was confusing what could be carried without a LTCH pre-Constitutional Carry (cap and ball, or manufactured pre-1 Jan 1899) and being a prohibited possessor of firearms.

If I hadn't been on the WIBC app with one earbud in at my nephew's ballgame yesterday (pitched 2 shutout innings FYI...) I wouldn't have heard about the Twitter wackadoodle with 71 followers want to start "good trouble" at the NRAAM 14-16 April. Someone really should explain how math works to this moron.

I don’t watch a lot of gun related content other than Copper Customs and Forgotten Weapons for whatever reason, but I’ll check him out, thanks.

Edit: Kelly mentioned the reason I probably don’t know who he is. I moved to Beech Grove right before COVID from Massachusetts, so not exactly a local. Transplant Hoosier but not ‘in the know’ on everything just yet.

Now that Kelly mentions WIBC, I know I’ve heard it mentioned. I’m an AM nerd, but I listened to ‘the chicks’ and Katz a lot when I first moved here.

yeah, with as much as we talk about Guy and his show, (and you bump his show thread usually) I was just a bit surprised.

If any INGO member gets involved in a self defense shooting I’m sure Guy would instruct us to erase all INGO comments we ever made. Delete it all….that would be my guess. A liberal non gun jury saw a guys comments and convicted him. They did not see him trying to flee, getting chased and boxed in and approached. Once you are stopped and confined isn’t that kidnapping? You might do the right thing, but a liberal non reasoning jury can still convict you. Hopefully the governor will do something and not just talk.

It took me three tries to sync my earbuds to my phone. I was afraid if I'd have brought up INGO to bump the thread I'd have to start over, or get my niece to help.

Urban One (WIBC's new owner, not that new now I guess) seems to be all-in on going out to other media (YouTube video with the radio shows for example.) Now instead of being limited by the wattage of the transmitter, this is now world-wide.

Don't get me wrong, I still like "tuning in" on that old fashioned device :oldwise:

Go listen to today's episode of The Gun Guy.

Guy covered the reason the jury ruled the way it did. It all revolves around him making tough guy statements about maybe needing to shoot protesters in the days leading up to the event as the riots started.
So basically once again social media gets one in trouble.

    STAY OFF SOCIAL MEDIA!

WIBC used to be on AM 1070, and 93.1 was a rock station. You could get channel 6 on the low end of the AM dial which was great for listening to the Indy 500, pre blackout and headphones.

We need to talk to Guy about podcasting his show when it’s pre-empted by sports stuff.

Actually, channel 6 was on the low end of the FM dial, as the entire FM band is in between channels 6 and 7 locally...
