I never saw a possum attack and kill a rabbit till this morning. Then it went under my daughters old play house with the rabbit. Live animal trap is set I may have a family under there.

A few years ago at my parents' house, we encountered a possum that was acting weird and aggressive. Not at all what a possum is supposed to act like.

Somewhat related, CCI Stingers cycle fine through a S&W M&P22.
    also

subsonic rounds through a suppressor on a M&P22 is still louder than you'd like.

But, much quieter through a similarly equipped bolt action.

Several years ago, one of the biggest ones I've ever seen was under my neighbor's porch. Grabbed my single shot .22 and couple Stingers. Put the muzzle about an inch behind its ear and fired. Hissed at me and bawled up in a corner. Second round was right between the eyes and dropped it. Told my neighbor maybe I should have brought my AR, that was a tough old guy !
