I thought he said White Supremacist was the greatest threat to American not to long ago
Hey. That was just one of the many number one threats. Apparently there are infinite number one threats. All of which happen to be the fault of the other side of the isle.

    Is it?
Or is it that so many vote for that crap, thinking it will get better... this time.
We've allowed (as a group, not individually) the education system to indoctrinate the population.
I've often thought that it was the society of ease that Western values and capitalism has built. Conservative people seem more content to build comfortable lives and live them, assuming the infrastructure and institutions would take care of itself.

Marxist ideologues infiltrated all that and we had no idea. And it may be too late to save it. The ideologues in their ivory towers concoct the pedegogy and indoctrinate the teachers of teachers, and they in turn, indoctrinate our kids, who indoctrinate their kids, and so on until the revolution is ready.

Maybe what he means is the number 1 money generating threat for Joe and his buddies.

My take on global change is from what I view is from the great flood. I believe that caused a massive change in the climate and frozen up the north and south poles. I now believe the earth is on a course to recovery and if given the time will revert back to the way it was before the great flood.

Obviously I'm not gone into exactly why I believe that. I do have science backing that up.
Not all scientists believe in the big bang or evolution. I found that out after I completed my schooling. I believe creation science should also be taught in schools as it makes way more sense.

I looked for some scientific opinions that would agree on when the poles were last iceless. Latest I could find is maybe 5 million years ago. Is that compatible with your flood hypothesis?

You need to look at creation science not big bang theories. A nice video on Amazon called Is Genesis History. It skims the surface of creation science. That video can point you in the right direction but it's upto you to decide to open your mind to other possibilities.

"Creation science" decides on the answer and then any research they do is in service of that answer. That's not science. It's not trying to discover what is. It's trying to justify what they believe by doing science stuff.

I think religion has it's own place. Science has it's own place. They're both solving different needs.

You better check into it before siding against it.

I can say the same about Big Bang/Evolution scientists.

Every scientist will push his or her world view. Pure science is a thing of the past.

You can say whatever you want.

Wait. So you are a young earth creationist? To each his own. But no.

Yeah, sure. People are biased. That's why science became a popular way to discover truth. But, when science gets institutionalized it becomes susceptible to corruption. And I think given the green industrial complex, crony scientists are giving the petroleum industrial complex a run for its money. But, that's neither here nor there in a discussion about science vs creation.

You have your mind made up. So I will not argue with you. You have the privilege to be wrong.

Do you not have your mind made up?

Would you even concede that you could be wrong?

I'm an agnostic instead of an atheist because I know I could be wrong. I kinda don't think I am. But I could be.

Yes I do after being taught one thing in public school and college. Then seeing something totally different and a fresh new view compared to the secular humanist view. It makes much more sense.

However, if you want to believe that a male chimpanzee mated with a warthog or vice versa in the wild, and out popped the beginning of human life go right ahead.

If this is your understanding of evolution then I'm not surprised that you think of it with such contempt. I think if I believed the same thing, I'd think it's crap too.

But, about having your mind made up. You said that I already have my mind made up, so it's not worth arguing. But like I said, my mind isn't made up. To me, evolution explains the world around me better than the creation story told in the Bible does. I believe I can be wrong. I can and have updated my opinions about things when facts support a change.

So could it be that whatever impasse we might face in discussion isn't because of what *I* believe? I suspect you would say that your faith in what you believe won't be shaken. And I respect that. And it's not my purpose to shake your belief. But maybe challenge some logic in how you might apply it. For example, I don't believe that a male chimpanzee mated with a warthog and out popped the beginning of humans.

That's the latest in evolution theory.
They were teaching my boys that right at South Ripley.
The leading evolutionary biologist came up with that one of that time. He may still be the top dog.
I guess you are behind on the times.

So you are not read up I see.

    :lol2:

    Now back to climate change.....

I believe the earth is still healing itself from the great flood.

That is a pretty gross mischaracterization of the facts presented in that article.

They are teaching it as fact of life in local high school. I'm sure creation grow a few million after that mistake.

I highly doubt many of you evolution theory true believers have looked at the latest creation science. I'm not talking about what you learned in Sunday school class.
