Biden is a moron and his advisors are even more stupid. So he is proposing a 3 month abatement of Federal gas tax. July, August, September. The underlying policies he implemented causing the problem will not be addressed. So come October gas prices will jump back up right before mid-term elections. Talk about an October surprise.

obiden is an absolute evil ****tard.

In a lighter moment 14 sec gas price video, is elevate interchangeable with alleviate? Also not the alleviate with the long E pronunciation. :D Probably laughed way too much at this...

    Career ending?

The ENTIRE admin does worse, and gets elected.

WTF is wrong with that guy? It’s the gas stations? Why is it that people can’t understand multivariate factors?

What goes into the cost of gas and diesel? I'm not in the industry, but at face value I can see the cost of oil is one thing. The cost of refining it. The cost of transporting it. The cost at the pump has a few pennies per gallon that go to the gas stations. Why drag the gas stations? Are they supposed to just give it away? Or worse, take a loss?

It costs more now to transport fuel because fuel is expensive, and and because of covid, we're short on trucking resources. So that's more expensive. Transportation costs for shipping fuel will come down as the price itself comes down.

It costs to refine it. And the price of refined fuel is mostly in the cost of oil, which has to do with demand and speculation, and all that. But refined fuel has its own demand too. Price being largely dependent on supply/demand is a feature not a bug. Maybe it would help increase the supply if Biden didn't ship our fuel all over the world. But no. He wants gas stations, who arguably have the lowest margins in the chain, to foot the bill for his policy.

Higher gas price => more expensive transportation of it, More expensive transportation => higher gas price.
Seems like we stuck in the loop

My car calls for 93 octane, but lately she's been getting 91 octane ethanol free gas. Been running $.20-.30 less than the 93.

$91.00 on my last 17 gallon fill up.

$33.00 just to fill my f**kin lawn mower.

    FJB.
Lucky you, my mower has dual 7 gallon tanks.

Takes half a tank each time I mow. Thinking about just bailing the yard, but would probably lose the kids in it, lol.

Maybe since Biden is asking for suspension of the Federal gas tax, our legislature should follow his lead with Indiana gas taxes?

If Holcomb calls the legislature back, they don't have to follow his lead. They can do what they want. WE should ask them to do what we sent them there for. :nono:

Biden Pushes Congress for Three-Month Gas Tax Holiday

"As one example, even if all of the benefits were passed on to consumers, the owner of a Ford F-150 that gets 20 miles to the gallon driving a thousand miles per month would save about $9 if the federal gas tax were suspended."

If only there was a way they could actually lower the price.

Ban exports of refined product and crude. Problem solved. We had an export ban from 1975-December of 2015. Obama was president and congress was controlled by the Republicans. That alone would likely halve our fuel costs. It would also greatly assist in filling our strategic reserve after this administration has been emptying it as fast as possible.

Inflate the gas prices so high that folks drive less. Less driving = less emissions.

    "Problem solved". ;)
More importantly - drive consumers toward electric vehicles, their ultimate goal. Then, when we're all driving EVs, we finally realize the power grid is over-taxed and no longer capable of supporting us. But now they have control over our movements.

Sound totally paranoid?!? I used to think so too.

Reminds me of when Pres. Carter "went solar".
Then his family tortured White House Staff with complaints of not having HOT water.
Eventually, small water heaters were placed in different places, so the family would not know that hot water heaters were STILL being used.

Then, at the end, they system was returned to "normal"

This is largely part of the plan I believe. Anything with a wire connected to it can have data passed to it. One day you find that your electric vehicle won't charge. Then you want to go on a trip and find out your electric vehicle won't charge beyond a 25 mile radius of your home. Suddenly you can't go where you want and you cannot congregate to protest.

This is just another piece of the building of the world's largest company town. You will rent everything, you will pay every penny you make to those you rent from, and if the employer decides to let you go you are instantly penniless homeless and without transportation.

Hook that with a social credit system and our children live as slaves.

Good thing gas vehicles are unhackable, right?
