One of the teachers who died called her husband (a cop onscene) and told him she was dying while the “negotiations” were being attempted.

Prosecuters office is now handling investigation.

Looks like another failure. Reports are saying the on-scene commander was not informed of the 911 calls from students that were in the classroom pleading for help during the 40+ minute stand down that he ordered.

What do we really believe about any news reports coming out of Uvalde now?

Looks as if the lawyers are now likely involved and all info coming out is about CYA vs actual fact? One can only guess that somewhere between documented proof and public relations, we know which will prevail? In a few months, no biggie to report that there are actually people who could have changed the outcome of this, had they only done their job?
