30 days younger, and therefore more beautiful, than those "other" brands.

39 as of the 25th. Soon enough I'll use the term whipper-snapper and always have Werther's in my pocket. All in due time.
You can start trying out using the term whipper-snapper now as long as TD is the person being referenced.

I think this term needs to be updated so that people don't sound so old. Whip-Snap would be good. This sounds cooler and us older folks can still decipher that Whipper-snapper is what is being meant.
That suspiciously sounds like what a whipper-snapper would do. Change words into things like "feels" and "yeet".

I like both of them, although I am biased towards the steel CZ's. :twocents:

I have a P-07 Tactical with all the bells and whistles. Love it! Great size, great shooter. I recently put a compensator on it and haven't tried it out yet. I've shot MM's 75b omega and it's a great shooter. I'd be happy for you to try my P-07 if you haven't shot one or if you'd just like to shoot it.

For the Howa .223, I have a load now figured out with 69gr Sierra Match King, 24.7 grains of Hodgdon H4895 powder and the bullets seated to a depth of 0.005" from the rifling (1.926" CBTO, bullet touches rifling at 1.931" CBTO). Velocity averaged 3011 fps. I didn't go past 0.021" for depth, because I was already getting some light powder crunch and I'm not trying to run a compressed load. Next trip out with that round, I'll do accuracy testing and get dope figured out at 100/200/300 yards.

For the 77gr Sierra Match King in the .223, I've got powder figured out at 22.8 grains of H4895, so now I'm ready to do a bullet seating depth test. I've got a wider number of depths to try, because unlike the 69-grain stuff above, I'm not at case fill with 22.8 grains and not getting powder crunch. Similar to the .308 below, I may very well run the bullet depth out to 0.080" or even 0.100" from the rifling.

    20220124_164337.jpg

The Howa .308 bullet seating depth test showed the Hornady 168 grain ELD-Match bullets liked depths of .030", .050" and .060". I don't know if the round at the top of the .040" group is an anomaly or not. Part of me wants to do more seating depth testing, the other part of me wants to pick .030" or .050" depth and move on. :dunno:

Made a brief, yet enjoyable range trip, to do some more powder testing along with bullet seating depth tests in the Howa rifles. The snow came down really well most of the time and added to the experience. I was just as thankful to get out of the cold after a few hours though.

Guilty as charged. He just got the online store up and running. Has always treated me fairly and is a very knowledgable guy. I have spent more than a little change in his store.
Yes, I like the store. Met someone there for a deal and ended up buying one from him also. I'll be in that area on Wednesday and I'm going to stop in.
