Well at least that Jack Wagon Holcomb is fighting for us...LOL. Emailed my first email to this moron. He uses his right hand so dumb republicans will like him, while using the left hand to make the other idiots happy. He has made up his mind he is a liberal traitor, but just can't seem to come out and say it.
    John Jacob State Representative
Today Governor Holcomb directed the attorney general and the Department of Labor to file a lawsuit against the Biden's administration mandate that employers with 100 or more employees mandate the jab.
YET, at the same time, Governor Holcomb supports the right of private companies to mandate the jab and is encouraging them to do so. Sources below. Just because Governor Holcomb is fighting against the lawless Biden administration "decree" doesn't mean he supports your medical freedom rights.

I understand where you’re going with it. It’s a poor way to make the case. You still haven’t hit on the reason people are against it. It’s not JUST because the government said so. Look at my other post on the subject. Maybe it would help.
There's many valid, and even good, reasons for not getting vaccinated our just questioning it.

But that's not what the meme I commented on is about. It's about the same thing as Tomb's was talking about last week - implying you're weak, and not a patriot if you get vaccinated.

    That's first rate fear mongering.

It's that binary thinking raising its ugly head again.

There’s a legitimate pushback for the sentiments about not really being free if you do something you oppose for the same of freedom. Like how consistent are you? It’s a harder case to make if we look at the extreme. Let’s say that the disease kills 100%. It’s very contagious. A vaccine comes along that is proven 100% effective and is proven 99.99% safe. Does the same meme apply then?

Or. Is it consistent across domains? If you obey any law you don’t agree with to have some level of freedom eithin society, does that make you unfree? I think that’s a legitimate question. I think the answer to that is, it depends on the circumstances.

In this case, the sentiment is correct. Such a mandate is not consistent with or justified by the facts of circumstances. The rule is arbitrarily applied for a purpose that is discordant with the facts.

“Oh, who cares if the rule is justifiable, just get the vaccine so you can keep your job,” is exactly what the meme is getting at. And in this circumstance it is true.
my other question would be how inert does the vaccine have to be for it to be moot?

For some even if it's 100% saline they'd fight it - and have every right to do so.

For others maybe there's a tipping point.

Of course that's a bit theoretical as it's impossible to prove those things. And that's just an isolated thought experiment, without the real-life complexities.

PS - I hate typing on this stupid tablet. My posts are much more terse than I want because I have one finger working, and have to go and info stupid autocorrect.

Just an unsubstantiated watercooler rumor - the company is honoring (some?) exemption request, but there's a $60/wk testing fee.

It seems freedom isn't free; and it cost a lot more than $1.05.

I watched a bit of the questioning about the mandate, specifically about natural immunity, in congress. As whatsherface talked about all the studies they reviewed, I wondered when they started their review? Has it been ongoing? Wa it before Biden issued the EO or after? Was it done to justify the order, or was the order driven by the data?
These were similar to my thoughts when the CDC released their own 'study' disputing the conclusions of the Israeli study on the superiority of natural immunity

What are the odds that the CDC was even studying anything of the kind before they needed ammunition to refute that specific study
