You'll be giving Losey a complex you keep that up. I stood up at a friend's wedding and he reminds me periodically that I'm the only groomsman left standing of the 4.

Mouse. . . I'm here if you need me. Keep hanging in and maybe we'll get the miracle we all pray for. **** the odds.

    Morning folks

    Consolidation efforts continue.

After I double check with the ATF today to confirm what my legal research has told me, I'll be separating the upper and lower from my Daniel Defense MK18 SBR and listing them for sale separately to 2 different individuals. Once one of them sells, thereby no longer allowing me to reconfigure into SBR configuration, I will notify the ATF that the lower is no longer subject to NFA. The notification to the ATF is not a legal requirement. Again, confirming all of this with them prior to selling anything.

I'll most likely have an Aimpoint Pro for sale as well. And a LAW Tactical folder.

    Pretty much Michigan.
    Mornin all.
Met the new oncologist today. He is a straight shooter. Verified what we already know. Stage 4 and pretty much the final chapter for me. No time lines until I get a pet scan to see where I am at. That will be next week. No hurries now. But avg stop watch time is 1 to 1 1/2 years depending. Some longer some not so much.
again, Thanks does not come close to show our appreciation for the support from you folks.
ingo has been supportive as well.
    so many blessings.

Anyone looking for a LAW folder, I can save you a few bucks, just listed mine for $240 shipped. Looks like they're running $269.99 on Brownells now.

Surprisingly had a nice conversation with a local ATF agent. He agreed with my research on the SBR, but advised that I contact the NFA branch to clarify how they want notified and confirm that I don't need written permission from them prior to selling anything. All of the internet says I'm good, but I'm not taking any chances this day and age.

Called the NFA branch, was on hold for a short bit (said longer than 5 min). Then noticed an email address for them. Sent email and received a reply back in 2 minutes stating that was correct and that I could reply to the email again with request to remove the SBR from NFA registry. Sweet!

Ego Chainsaw on a Stick report:

I put some chainsaw/bar oil in the little reservoir, dropped one of the 5 Amp hour batteries on it and took down all the dead limbs on my trees that I could reach. I might have to get the extension boom for it, but I didn't see any branches higher up that needed tending to. I managed to not drop any branches on my head (I did have on my hard helmet), I managed to not lop off any of my fingers, toes, arms or legs. So I came back inside with all the parts I went out with.

It did a great job going through the branches quickly.

The pile of branches after they were chopped off the tree.

That was after I took care of one tree. I had a few branches off the other two that needed to go that I didn't take pictures of.
I'll eventually get one of these.

In the interim, I picked up one of these and dropped about 3 pickup truck loads worth from some of my trees

How's the balance on the EGO? Also, I saw some reviews of folks saying that they had to empty the oil reservoir between every use to keep it from making a mess. I opted for the Fiskars manual model for now to keep things simple and see how it would work (pretty good so far). Took down a lot of what I needed to with the lopper, and only needed to use the actual saw for a few larger branches.
