Compliance with the whims of society. Employers. Stores. Karen. The angry mob-o-karens. Government is only one way to enforce social standards.

Which brings me back to my original point...not wearing a mask still isn't civil disobedience.

Now explain the guy in his car alone, windows down on a sunny summer day, wearing a mask?

I don't know the context. Maybe he worked in the medical field, had limited masks and the protocol was that once his mask was removed,it was considered soiled.

Maybe he just hadn't gotten around to taking it off yet.

Most likely, he was an idiot.

You're making a big assumption there. Dr. Fauci isn't the only voice on COVID, despite what you may want to suggest. Also bold to assume at least half the country is stupid because they disagree with you.

Oh come now - Falsi is far and away the one main voice and spokesperson for all things plandemic despite what you may want to divert to.
Disagreeing with me is not confirmation of stupidity, however believing Falsi at this point is confirmation of stupidity. There is no way half the country believes him anymore.

It is a fact that half the country has a below average IQ.

The CDC dismissed studies last spring indicating masks ineffective and pushed them. They did their own study and released their own results this spring finding masks ineffective. The next morning they were blowing up the radio doubling down on pushing masks. If you follow these people, you are too ****ing stupid for an adult conversation.

OMG, another parsing of words with jamil. LOL

Can we settle on societal disobedience?

You do realize that with left control of media, social media, the bureaucratic government, the elected government, it is all morphing into one oppressive entity?

Lol, yes, by definition your comment on IQ is factual.

I think there is a fundamental difference in how you and I view Dr. Fauci. Surely he is the main talking head for the government in all things COVID, that is true. But he is a talking head for research being conducted by thousands of other entities.

I don't care what Dr. Fauci says, I care about the research being conducted. I also disagree strongly with your statement that believing Dr. Fauci is confirmation of stupidity, but I know you and I will never find common ground there.

Most likely he was an idiot. Well, if that’s the case, the reason he’d be an idiot would be that he’s wearing a mask in a situation where it does no good. This is why the people who don’t believe masks are all that helpful in any situation think that the people who wear them are idiots.

It's amazing to me how angry you've gotten over the years. Everyone who disagrees with you is "****ing stupid" in every other comment you post it seems.

We just see things differently, I suppose. If you feel it's disobedience, then I guess it is.

The difference being there is literature (whether you accept it or not is a different story) to support masks in certain situations. Alone in a car is not supported by anything lol

Anyone who listens to an "authority" which proves its own claim false and then complies with actions demanded based on that claim is a fool. There is no escaping that point.

You're damn straight I am angry. I am guessing you are in reasonably good health. As far as I am concerned those who want to make breathing more difficult than it already is DO NOT need to be breathing themselves.

Yeah. Well words mean what they mean. Civil disobedience is generally used used in connection with disobeying laws. Thing is, we find ourselves in a time where technology and technocrats have enabled a new enforcer of rules. To be disobedient to their precepts can have consequences too. Karen can be just as effective at enforcement.

That’s why I think to argue that masks have no enforcement at all is either ignorant or disingenuous. I like the term social or societal disobedience to represent the middle finger to Karen and her angry mob.

Do you really think breathing is more difficult in a mask? Lol

And another post wishing people dead. You're really on a roll, man.

You do see how I could turn this graphic back around and use it to support my argument, right?
Dr Fauci isn’t the only voice on covid. There are plenty of other lying cronies as well.

This is the part that I find hilariously ironic.

The people fervently complaining about someone choosing to wear a mask for whatever reason are the same people complaining about a "Karen" fervently complaining about someone not wearing a mask.

They've both chosen to judge someone else's behavior and draw conclusions from it without knowing that other person's situation.

I don't know mbills at all, so I'm not going to judge the reasoning behind why he has chosen to wear a mask. It's his decision to make, not mine.

I think we see a lot of disingenuousness here on this type of topic. Whether we are discussing masks or speech several seem to enjoy pointing out that the constitution is limited to government while entities with deep entanglements with government are described as "private business" and they can do what they want.

I think "prisoner of politics" and "societal disobedience" are pretty clear in what they describe...

Masks help with stopping droplets too large to get through. End of story. So. If you’d have otherwise infected someone by sneezing or coughing. Good for you. Or, if you’re one if those talking spitters, and you’re talking to someone within several feet. Yeah, that probably helps a little too. But turns out droplets aren’t the only way covid spreads. There’s aerosol. And touching stuff.

So. In the grocery store, stay away from people and mind what you touch. It’s a big open space so not likely to get it from aerosol. The shields up around cashiers was probably good idea.
