    Well, how about this "compromise"?
Since the Dems expanded the Court last time, we expand it, but Trump picks the next 4.
And then we leave it alone for 50 years, since that seems to be the precedent.

No compromise is possible anymore, it's clearly scorched earth policy from here on out, otherwise this wouldn't even be a consideration in the mind of the most radical of the dems.

Abolishing the filibuster and this are the first shots of a civil war.

We were well beyond even being able to have a discussion even 4 years ago, this is the natural next step, which carries consequences.

You will have chance to redress those consequences. People are just running around like their hair is on fire because they take elections personally.
Not if the vote is not secured. We know it was stolen and if that is not fixed there can be no redress. Which is why those you voted for are taking steps to lock in the vote cheating...

Anyways, back to an expanded court. I used to not agree with it. The Merrick Garland fiasco changed my opinion. If you cheered the "dirty (but technically legal) tricks" that was involved with that, then you'll understand why the other side is willing to do the same thing.
    Just flat out falsehoods!

    Going nowhere.

Ruth Ginsburg is pushing up daisies. Amy Coney Barrett isn't. No amount of posturing will change that.

No, because I don’t think anything will happen. Everyone else seems to think we’re on the brink of collapse. We’re not. Not even close. I’ve listened to family who’ve lived through a lot worse. And this is small potatoes

    :yesway:

Confirms what I already knew about leftists: their either evil, ignorant, or both. You’re not overtly evil, but the ignorant part...

Any moderate knowledge of history shows exactly where the philosophies of the left lead, and you seem happily unaware of that.

Of course if you do in fact know history and you do in fact know where the philosophies of the left always lead, and you’re still willfully pushing the needle that direction, then I’ll have to re-think my position on you not being evil. ;)

You're giving far too much credit, this forum has absolutely informed him of every single piece of biden's policy. The excuse of ignorance expired a very long time ago.
