Can you mod your Mac or your iPad or your phone or smart TV?

The systems they put into cars are not built like pc’s, but more like phones. The operating systems and data are all encrypted with factory keys and locked to that hardware and you cannot modify the hardware without having access to the private key. Any attempt to modify the factory software without the factory keys will fail to run.

Part of the purpose of forcing us into these new technologies has little to do with climate change or the green economy. It's all about removing control/ownership from the people to the ones in control. See how much sofware you can no longer buy to own a copy of and run at will for as long as you like. Most new software is now cloud (SAAS) based. MIcrosoft is pushing the next version of windows to be in the cloud, office is no longer on disk - you need office365 now, etc. etc., Adobe photoshop? cloud based. If you stop paying you lose the ability to access the content you created with it. If the innernet goes down? You lose access to your data.

These all-electronic cars will eventually be the same, like sofware you won't really own your vehicle anymore - you will rent it in perpetuity.
Good thing no one has any plans to force a "Great Reset" of the world.

You can be in denial, but every time a refinery goes down prices go up. Take down four, and prices go up more.
Refineries can go down, and then come back online and that would explain minor fluctuations in price. I am referring to the trend that started when it was confirmed that Biden the pedophile would be the next president. That trend has been a steady rise in prices that to date is around a 40% increase. If you cannot see that trend or refuse to acknowledge it and what caused it, then yes, go ahead and tell me all about that land of denial.

And they just dont ****ing get it no matter how much of this mud pie hits them square in the face. They jump ship due to media induced stage 4 TDS and defend that most horrible decision to the end.

A few actaully are so blind as to say DJT left us in worse shape than when O left out. Are they that blind or just that ****ing stupid.

I am leaning on stupid. Prove me wrong. Do your absolute best from on high looking down on us gun /God clinging mere mortals. Thats the attitude I get from some of you. Hell even Kut has more grace.

    Come on. Lets hear it.
My only response will be to the trolls on either side of the isle and I promise this. Idiocy will be met head on.

Lets hear some solid response to support anything Bidiot has done or intends to do for the betterment of the republic that he has outwardly ignored. We are not a democracy. At least not yet anyway.

OK.....Go. This is your chance if you have the balls to take it.
I see none of the libturds have taken you up on this, go figure. This whole thread, and crickets!!!! Lets get back into the muscle cars, I had a 1972 Olds fastback, 355R, and that thing was awesome! Sold my '64 1/2 Mustang, but still have the 65 Pontiac Catalina. Too much chrome on the DASH to drive on a sunny day. Now I just stick with my big Ram trucks, easier to run the F.O. little cars...

Actually, he asked if they were blind or just stupid, and then stated that he was leaning more towards the stupid. Then he asked for someone to prove him wrong. Over 100 posts and not even an attempt to prove him wrong. It really just kind of reinforces what I already knew though.

I know a couple few democRATS personally and I find myself asking the same questions when I hear some of their thoughts, "are you that blind or just stupid?" and that is keeping it nice. How much of a moron does one have to be to vote for a guy that kills how many good paying jobs while wanting to make 11+million illegal aliens citizens to compete with the jobs that are left? In what universe does that make any kind of sense?

I'll tell you the extent of their mental capacity and understanding of the world by explaining why they voted for him: "He's so presidential!"

There are exemptions to DMCA as enforced by the US copyright office. It was newly proposed language (in 2015) for an exemption that John Deere and the other manufacturers were against. JD objected to the one below where it's okay to circumvent the protections under those conditions. Later, the exemptions were adopted as the association withdrew its objection.

"Computer programs that are contained in and control the functioning of a motorized land vehicle such as a personal automobile, commercial motor vehicle or mechanized agricultural vehicle, when circumvention is a necessary step undertaken by the authorized owner of the vehicle to allow the diagnosis, repair or lawful modification of a vehicle function; and where such circumvention does not constitute a violation of applicable law, and provided, however, that such circumvention is initiated no earlier than 12 months after the effective date of this regulation."
The tractor manufacturers, especially Deere, are still fighting.

I'm going to guess here and say that maybe the tractor regs have something to do with diesel emissions, something the feds have their nose in.

I want to thank CM for his 100% spot on wisdom as usual for getting me to step out of my self imposed hermitage after the election.

I believe in American Exceptionalism and that America is a noble country, warts and all. Yes- America is not perfect and we have done some shady things in our history but no one is perfect. I always believed that the American voter had the ultimate say in our choice of leadership. But not now, that is broken, if the people cannot trust the 'vote', who/how will this correct itself. Even when Barry was President, I accepted the vote. I didn't like it, but I accepted it. But not now. We are in uncharted territory that could lead the Country to some dark times. I fear for the Republic.

Yes- these people are just 'stupid'. If they didn't understand what they were voting for they definitely will not now. I pray for them.

We need to be reminded that there are those among us who would chose to limit yours and mine, and my children's and grandchildren's God given constitutional rights.

You did, and you called them "houlier than thou" if i remember correctly. If someone thinks thats a way to start an actual civil debate id say that if brains were gun powder they wouldnt have enough to blow the wings off a fly's back.

Why arent liberals responding? Just look at the responses I got and im not a even a liberal. People rushing to debate me over something as simple as "insults arent a good way to start civil discourse". Im going to have 10 more people debating this response.

Why would your goal be to civil debate or have "civil discourse" with a crowd known for their lack of civility?
