At the rate things are going gun control legislation won’t be necessary to prevent people from shooting. Gun ownership may not diminish, but with no ammo and no components to reload having a gun will be a meaningless attribute. I view the current scenario as far worse than the last go around when .22 ammo was in short supply. From reviews of multiple sources handgun cartridges of any sort are nonexistent unless buyers are willing to pay exorbitant prices. Shotgun shells fall into the same category. Reloading components for either can’t be found.

We’re in for a Helluva ride boys !

Glad I sold off my collection and bought guitars with the money.

Not long ago I had plenty of ammo to keep my guns from being meaningless. I would imagine there is no shortage of people in that same situation.

Sold it all and bought guitars tho.

Maybe there is common ground to be found. I guess time will tell, maybe there is hope. If we start coming together on this issue they're going to figure out that we're not what we've been made out to be. Then the :poop: will hit the fan.

Some of those comments sound like the BS we read on here.

I've said it before, I don't expect to live to see another Presidential election, they are coming.
I honestly think you’re being overly dramatic. Democrats don’t have nearly the support conservatives seem to think when it comes to gun control. That’s my opinion, and if they do take action, you can expect a a LOT of people being replaced nationwide.

It will be too late if they do take action and whatever legislative action they take would be damn near impossible to repeal.

    Somewhere over the rainbow
From the "Liberal Gun Club" website:

We favor enforcement of existing regulations over the creation of new regulatory schemes.
We believe that additional regulation is too often political window dressing and does not serve to resolve the ills for which it is claimed as a cure. This includes the so-called Assault Weapons Ban, as well as proposed restrictions on magazine capacity.

Researching now how they balance voting "liberal" with endorsing the RKBA.

And what good does that do? By that time the damage is done, the dems paid a price after the AWB but nobody bothered to repeal it then.

2A honestly wasn't nearly as big an issue when the AWB originally passed, like it is now. Beliefs concerning the 2A have changed drastically.

That doesn't change the fact that if they pass legislation it won't be going away. Is this the new goal post now, first it was they'll never take up gun control legislation, then it was we have the senate, now it's if they do pass gun control the democrats will pay the price and we'll repeal it?
